As a person of faith with a deep heart for the global community I am remarkably grateful for the opportunity to serve with our UCC and DOC mission partners in South Korea. As part of my first sabbatical experience I will be spending six weeks traveling with the PROK (Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea).
This experience will provide an opportunity to learn and serve the church outside of my regular call as the Minister and Team Leader of the Ministerial Excellence, Support and Authorization (MESA) Ministry Team in the national setting of the United Church of Christ.
Equally a blessing is the fact that my husband, Jonathan, a skilled terrazzo worker, has also qualified as a Global Ministries Volunteer and will be offering is construction expertise to our partners as we travel together.
